#McCann:Video - Pat Brown - Families of Psychopaths: 'You're Either Useful, or in the Way'

Even when people are confronted with the fact that their loved ones have murdered many people or committed other heinous acts, oftentimes those people choose to stand by the psychopath's side.  

Pat Brown, profiler and author of thebook "Only the Truth," explains to Anderson the "minimization" phenomenon that makes this possible.

"As time goes on, a [seemingly-normal person] becomes manipulative, becomes psychopathic," Pat says. "[Loved ones] tend to love him so much and want the best for him that they... minimize it and say, 'No, he was never that way.'" 

Pat goes on to say that psychopaths can develop by age 5, but many families turn a blind eye.....Pat explains
